Terms of Participation

At eMotion Therapy, LLC, we are committed to providing a learning environment that is grounded in trauma-informed principles of safety, trust, collaboration, empowerment, and respect. Our training and workshops are designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of mental health professionals while acknowledging the diverse experiences and backgrounds of participants.

We recognize that discussions of mental health, trauma, and therapeutic approaches may bring up strong emotions or challenge existing beliefs. Participants are encouraged to engage in self-reflection, honor their personal boundaries, and take breaks as needed. If additional support is required, we encourage participants to seek guidance from a trusted colleague, supervisor, or mental health professional.

Our programs emphasize psychological safety and respectful engagement. While interactive discussions and Q&A segments are an integral part of the learning experience, all participants are expected to communicate with professionalism and sensitivity. Disruptive behavior, hate speech, or any actions that compromise the well-being of others will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the program.

All training materials are the intellectual property of the presenter and may not be copied, modified, or used for commercial purposes without explicit permission.

​

For any concerns, feedback, or grievances related to a training or workshop, participants are encouraged to submit their concerns in writing via email to emotiontherapy@outlook.com. We are committed to reviewing all feedback in a thoughtful and responsive manner.

Fees, Refunds, and Cancellations

At eMotion Therapy, LLC, we understand that investing in professional development is an important decision. We strive to make our payment and refund policies clear, fair, and aligned with our trauma-informed values of transparency, trust, and accessibility.

​

To ensure a smooth registration process, all program fees must be paid in full before the start of the training or workshop through the designated registration link. Payments are accepted via CashApp, PayPal, or Square. At this time, we are unable to accept checks, purchase orders, or cash.

​

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We recognize that unexpected circumstances may arise. To honor both participant needs and our ability to effectively plan our programs, we offer the following refund policy:

  • Cancellations made at least 10 days before the scheduled training or workshop will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 10 days of the event are not eligible for a refund.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to emotiontherapy@outlook.com. Because we are committed to offering high-quality virtual programming, we are unable to issue refunds for technical difficulties or connectivity issues experienced by the participant.

​

We encourage participants to test their internet connection and technology prior to the event.

​

If eMotion Therapy, LLC must cancel a training or workshop for any reason, all registered participants will receive a full refund.

We appreciate your understanding and commitment to creating a supportive and enriching learning experience. If you have any concerns about payment or accessibility, please reach out to us—we are here to support you.

Attendance Policy

To receive continuing education (CE) hours, participants must adhere to all attendance verification policies & procedures. eMotion Therapy, LLC reserves the right to adjust or deny CE credit if a participant does not comply with attendance policies, including but not limited to: failure to sign in as instructed or leaving before the session concludes (whether in person or virtually).

Certificates of Completion

Participants who successfully complete a training or workshop and submit the required program evaluation will receive a certificate of completion.

​

Certificates will be sent via email to the address provided during registration for both in-person and virtual workshops and trainings.

​

eMotion Therapy, LLC is not responsible for errors in participant-provided information, such as incorrect email addresses, names, or license details.

Email emotiontherapy@outlook.com to requests replacement certificates  Processing time for replacement certificates may take up to one week.

Participation Restrictions and Service Refusal

eMotion Therapy, LLC reserves the right to deny or restrict access to any program for individuals who fail to adhere to program guidelines, violate legal regulations, or pose a risk to the safety or well-being of presenters or other participants. If an individual is removed from a training or workshop for these reasons, they will forfeit their CE hours and may be prohibited from attending future programs.

At eMotion Therapy, LLC, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and trauma-informed learning environment where all participants feel safe, valued, and respected. We recognize that learning spaces should honor the diverse experiences, identities, and needs of each individual.

​To ensure accessibility for all participants, our programs are conducted in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and relevant state, federal, and local regulations.

Requests will be reviewed promptly, and we will respond within one week to ensure that every reasonable effort is made to provide an accessible and supportive learning experience.

eMotion Therapy, LLC is committed to advancing the professional excellence of mental health practitioners through NBCC Certified Continuing Education training and workshops. Our goal is to provide specialized education, professional supervision, and mentorship to support counselors in their development while ensuring they remain at the forefront of emerging trends and evidence-based practices. By integrating cognitive-behavioral, family systems, trauma-informed psychosomatic therapeutic techniques, and other innovative healing methodologies, we equip mental health professionals to deliver exceptional care to individuals, couples, and families experiencing trauma-induced PTSD, stress, anxiety, grief, and depression.
